I purchased this item for my husband as an anniversary gift. It is so much more beautiful in person. He loves it. My only criticism is that it did not come in half sizes. Very substantial compared to his gold wedding band that he lost.
This ring is even more stunning in person than on the web. Put it in direct sunlight and it will really sparkle. What I did not realize until it showed up in the mail is that the gold insert has a smooth protective clear overcoat to protect the gold plate from scratching off and will also prevent dirt and soap scum from collecting in the fine Celtic knotwork. Even my 7 year old grandson thinks the dragon head is cool. I bought this ring as an inexpensive temporary replacement for my solid gold wedding band (which fell into the ocean), but I think I will use it permanently as my wedding ring. My wife loves it, too.
