I got this ring for myself (Male 30) as a temporary band until my wife and I exchange rings at our wedding (we got married last month, wedding in 5 more- it's easier to please the government and insurance companies than relatives). I wanted something cheap and simple that I wouldn't alter (I tend to dissolve metals).
For that- this works. I wouldn't want to use this longer than a short period of time. The black finish is not very well attached- I've already rubbed off 1/2 of the edges black to reveal the silver underneath. I'm an IT worker, so I'm using a computer all day, not working with gloves or heavy activity. I have done some ceramics, but took my ring off after a minute or two (I forgot I was wearing it until my pot was not centering correctly). To me this means I shouldn't see this type of wear. But again it's not that expensive. Had I known about the finish I would have gotten the silver colored version.
It's not quite as thin as I expected, but it is smaller than any other ring I've worn (a 2mm band is NOT normal man-ring). I actually find I like it, and enjoy playing with it more than I have others. My only worry about it's thinness if for those who work in places where it might get hooked on something- it'll easily tear through a finger joint - maybe good maybe bad (if I'm gonna have a ring get caught and my finger taken off- I'd rather it was a thin ring than a thick one). Odd to worry about but I've had two good friends have it happen to, so I think about it.
This product was the perfect wedding band for my wedding. I had another, but the band was too thick and looked too masculine. This one is the perfect size. It was delivered fast and the right price.
